What is the bombing museum?

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum remembers and honors those who were killed, those who survived, and those changed forever by the worst domestic terror attack in America. April 19, 1995, at 9:02 a.m. a bomb detonated outside the Alfred P. Murrah federal building. The museum tells the story of tragedy and hope with artifacts, photos and videos. Museum admission can be added to the tour.

How can I save money on OKC bombing museum?

When booking your Explore OKC tour, add-on discounted museum tickets to save $2 on adult or $5 on student tickets. The Explore OKC tour group will visit the bombing memorial together. Then you can extend your stay at the site to visit the museum, or continue with the tour group and use the museum tickets for another day.

They payment screen will ask if you would like to add-on discounted museum tickets. Select this option to purchase tickets, then plan to visit the museum when the tour group is at the bombing memorial or at another time. The Oklahoma City Bombing National Museum shares the story of the worst domestic terrorist attack on U.S. soil. April 19, 1995 affected every Oklahoman and impacted the world. The museum holds more than one million artifacts, documents and photographs. You’ll learn about the tragedy, but also how hope and unity has persevered.

Due to time constraints, our tour visits the National Memorial, but does not include time nor admission to the museum. We highly encourage you to devote one-to-three hours at the National Museum to see, touch, and feel the devastation of the day that changed Oklahoma City forever, and to know what it means to, “Be the light.”
