OUR HERITAGE
Owned and operated by a fourth generation Oklahoman, the roots of Explore OKC run deep into the red Oklahoma soil. Founder Sarah Horton learned pioneer grit from family who went to church on Sunday, farmed the coarse soil of western Oklahoma, operated a sawmill in the mountains of eastern Indian Territory, made scratch biscuits daily, owned a business on Main Street, made every activity a competition, and feasted at harvest.
